So many times we are tired and our bodies feel heavy. And we have no one to blame but ourselves. Let me explain it in a way that you will understand. Have you ever been to a fabric store? I can spend all day in one. I love the feel of certain fabrics but I know that some of them don't look right on me because of the way I am built. We often see people wearing stuff that doesn't look right on them because it lays in way that is unflattering. So here is my question? What are you wearing? Is it the emotions and situations of other people? Is it their opinions? It doesn't lay right on you because it wasn't made for you. You were only supposed to touch it quickly not wear it. You are angry at them for what you choose to do. Wearing their "garment" will not excuse you from dealing with your own battles. Take it off. It doesn't belong to you. They have been equipped for that. You cannot fight every battle for them. They have to get it for themselves. I lo...

Things have been rough. In a season of isolation so that the greatness that is in us can be pulled out so we can help others in this thing we call life. Truly at a place where all we can do is trust the Lord, because everything else we have tried has failed. I just wanted to write a note of encouragement to us. -We are intelligent -We are creative -We are loved -We are needed -We are intelligent -We are worth the wait -We are filled with joy -We will walk in peace - We will take care of ourselves first, everyone else will have to wait -We will pray for others but never overwhelm ourselves with their battles. So many times in life in order to avoid our own healing, we shoulder the battles of others and then complain about not having time for ourselves. Last month I studied the book of Proverbs and this month I am studying the book of Esther. Why? Because I need wisdom for what the Lord is preparing me for. I am not the type just to do/try something because someone else is doing it. What works for them may not work for me. Plus my assignment is different. In the book of Esther, it says that it took a year of preparation before she was presented to the king. She had to be instructed on how to do certain things. She listened and as a result she was the most favored of them all. What was done within the year? She was given a special menu and beauty treatments. So here is first question: What are you eating in this preparation time? Spiritually and physically. You can't feed into stuff you aren't hungry for. You can't eat what they eat. They have a different assignment probably. Second question: are you taking what was prescribed to you? Six months of myrrh is what Esther was given followed by six months of other beauty tr...

This is a note of encouragement to the following people. To the shy, to the overlooked, to the hurt, to the abandoned, I just want you to know that I understand why you want to lay low. It is a lot going on out here and especially with you. You have tried to reach out, to take the necessary steps and most of the time you have had to do it by yourself. You have had people to break promises, overlook you, lie on and to you. How many more tears do you have to shed? It is to the point where you want to go into hiding and never come out again. This is the time for you to be healing. Talk to a professional if necessary. You cannot stay in this place. We have to stop making broken promises to people. We have to stop lying on God. Did He really say that or are you in your flesh as usual?! The embody: it lines up with His word and it is a confirmation for the person you are speaking to. If it ain't you may hear the words "shut up"(first and only warning) We have to stop praying for doors to open then playing dumb when they do. This letter is to those who are so deep that they are drowning in a teaspoon of water. I am coming for you yes I am. We (my generation) are tired. Dear Deep Saints, We love you very much. We really do. But y'all don't be helping sometimes. We are out here fighting real life battles (some of it not pertaining to us because you were to cute to kill these generational curses you keep telling us to pray about). We in therapy dealing with traumatic issues so we don't pass on this mess to other generations. We are praying. 1 Corinthians 3:6 " I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase" Because sometimes God will ask us to do something ridiculous. At the end of May, I started a small garden. I have never had a green thumb in my life. Friends would give me flowers and the next day they would be dead. But not in this season. What I am planting in the physical is growing faster than I thought. Some of the flowers are seeds, others are flowers that have already been planted somewhere else. Hence the bible verse posted above. Let me tell you what happened the other day. The landscapers came and cut our grass and they cut my flowers. Let me tell you. I was heated you understand me. To me... (keywords) what I had planted had been tampered with. But as I was sitting in my house, I was reminded that there was still a seed in the ground and that the soil was still good.
