Here is my question: What are you thanking Him for? We know God is faithful in all He does. God knows our hearts so that also knows what we want and what we need. Do you really know?

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." -Psalm 37:4

Did you know you had secret desires hidden behind your pain? I didn't until I let God heal me. I did that because I started defining my "Its". There were things I wanted but I couldn't confess because I was broken, hurt, angry, etc. So in the middle of last year the Lord had me to write my its down in my Bible.. Not on paper.. but in my Bible. I lose paper but I always know where my word is. I have done that for this year as well.

I am hoping that all of you learn to define whatever your it is. Everyone has them. It could be healing, deliverance, joy, strength, understanding, wisdom, knowledge... You have to put in the work to discover or define what your it or it(s) are in life. There is no problem with knowing what you need and want when it lines up with the will of God for your life. Pray that God reveals your purpose and destiny to you if He hasn't yet.

Define your it soon so you can walk in what you really believe.

When You Don't Understand

2018 was full of loss. Some of us lost loved ones, we lost our hope, our drive, our passion. It seemed like every single time we took steps to make progress life came and knocked the hell out of us. And it made me angry. I didn't understand why it seems like things kept going left when we were doing right. Why did people go ghost in the midst of a heartbreaking year? I let my anger affect the things that I was doing and I honestly didn't care anymore. Why should I extend myself when no one else was willing to do the same. Are you bearing fruit?

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name." -John 15:16(NIV) Chosen to bear fruit. A reason your prayers may not be answered is because you are not bearing fruit. Are you sharing Jesus with others besides the ones who are in your circle? When was the last time you told a complete stranger something that could change their life? Like Jesus loves them, have a blessed day or week, etc. Do they see your light or do they see your dilemmas?  Things to consider. Stop avoiding strangers and start bearing fruit.
