The Seed of Unforgiveness

We cannot avoid hurt and pain but we have the choice to heal from it. What are you allowing to grow in your garden? Has the seed of unforgiveness been planted? If so it is time to till the soil and get it out. One seed can determine what grows the fastest especially if you are watering it. Water the seeds of love, joy, peace, and forgiveness. Realize some people will never apologize to your face. Recognize that the Lord forgives you DAILY for things you have done that were a lot worse than what was done to you. Remember unforgiveness is a sin. Pray the Lord's Prayer everyday. Matthew 6:9-15 with emphasis on verses 12-15. You want the Lord to forgive you? Learn to forgive other people. Blessings, peace, and love

Heal from the Root

So many times we go back to the way things used to be. Realize that it is dysfunctional to be comfortable in chaos. We are called to live in peace(Colossians 3:15). If anything, you should want to gravitate far away from the people and things that drive you up a wall. We can love from a distance. Every person doesn't have to have access to you all the time. You cannot be everything to them and nothing to yourself. Do you really want to heal? You have to ask yourself this question. When you are truly ready to heal you will not deflect from those issues anymore. You will stop cutting the branches of the dead tree and get to the root. You have to pull out the pain so it can stop pulling you down. Many physical ailments are caused by not forgiving and holding on to things that you know you should let go of. Your mental health affects your physical health. I am a witness. When I am good on the inside my body is not in pain. When I am not so good, it is a whole different story. In thi...

Reflecting, Releasing, and Relaying

Life is so short. Please take the time to cherish the people God has blessed and graced you with. Stir up the gifts that are inside of you. Don't hold on to the past but press into your healing as you move forward in life. Don't miss the opportunity to live and love when you get the chance. Learn to rest and enjoy your sleep. We are missing out on the best of life holding on to the worst of life. Discover the best part of you and love on it. Never condemn yourself or other people. There is so much to do and no time for distractions. Dance, be, feel, and trust. Be encouraged. Just a Mid March note to all of us. You are loved.

Find Your Rhythm

So many times we are so focused on learning other ways to dance that we forget to find our own rhythm. We all have a best within us that has the ability to create awesome and life changing choreography. If we would just set our minds to think of the movement and to find our center. Dance into your healing. Listen to the rhythm within you and express yourself.  We all can have the gift, but you cannot express my movements like me. I cannot express your movements like you. Make it your own. Be sharp as a tack yet flow like water. "Tune me into foot tapping songs; Set these once broken bones to dancing." -Psalm 51:8(MSG)

Are you bearing fruit?

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name." -John 15:16(NIV) Chosen to bear fruit. A reason your prayers may not be answered is because you are not bearing fruit. Are you sharing Jesus with others besides the ones who are in your circle? When was the last time you told a complete stranger something that could change their life? Like Jesus loves them, have a blessed day or week, etc. Do they see your light or do they see your dilemmas?  Things to consider. Stop avoiding strangers and start bearing fruit.

Have you ever considered the glue?

With it being the holiday season we often rely on certain people to hold things together. This has happened for centuries. We call them "the glue". All the pieces come back together because of the glue. However, do we ever consider what the glue goes through? Let's go there. 1) When not needed the glue is ignored. It sits on a shelf for long periods of time without a thought given to the fact that the tip (head) is dried up from a previous use.  2) The glue gets poured out and squeezed in extreme circumstances. Sometimes the person doing the squeezing barely recognizes the strength they are using.  3) The glue is carrying a lot of weight. It is again holding pieces together that carry a mass weight. The glue has to harden itself to hold everything together. 4) Finally, the glue cannot be refilled. Once empty it is thrown away and replaced.  Again I ask, have you ever considered the glue? Consider what (who) you are using. Ask yourself if you want to throw them away. ...

When we can get real?

This is a very transparent blog. There may be a scripture reference at the end. There may not be. Life gets hard. You often have to remind yourself that you can't let your feelings rule your life. This is what I am learning in this current stage in my life. When I go to talk to someone I don't want a deep answer at this point. There are so many deep people out here that they are drowning in teaspoons full of water. Why don't you just say you have been through it or you have not? And if you have how did you get through it? Have you ever cried, cussed, cried and cussed? Let's just get real for a minute. I know I have done that and some more when I have gone through. It's like the concept of being human has completely gone out the window. Can we just get real with people for once in our lives? Tell someone you have been broke, heartbroken, frustrated, fired, whatever it is? Every person does not know the scripture from beginning to end. You don't either. However,...
